Overview
Thrillazilla is a streamer on Twitch, a website focused on independent streamers creating live content on their platform. The client’s primary content is gaming and opening Pokemon cards during their streams. The client wanted emotes and a logo designed for their channel and streaming elements they could use for their content. They felt the words that best described their style were street, tech, and bold, and they wanted this emulated in their new design.
Solution
For this project, I created a logo that tied his theme of street and tech together with bold, sleek, and angular linework. I designed elements that incorporated the similar style of his logo for his Pokemon card streams which further enunciated his overall brand style. I also created expressive emotes and colorful badges to incentivize viewers to subscribe to his content. I focused on making each item bold and creative, with expressive traits representing the streamer’s personality.
Research
Streamer's Setup
To create the logo and other elements for Thrillazilla’s streams, I researched Twitch’s rules for creating various design elements for content producers. I explored tech designs used in multiple games that Thrillazilla enjoys playing on stream and styles that represented his personality. I also researched streamers that were the most popular on the website and looked at their brand styles. Furthermore, I studied what art styles and emotes were the most popular and used among viewers in their community. For Thrillazilla’s subscription badges, I found that designing different objects representing each type of subscription gave viewers more incentive to continue their subscription.

Expressive Emotions
Twitch Emotes
The streaming website, Twitch, allows content producers to create emotes that viewers can use in their chat section that are unique to the website. For Thrillazilla, I designed a simplified character based on his outward appearance. I wanted to make them as expressive as possible so viewers can convey their emotions more effectively, and encourage them to engage with others in the chat and the streamer.

Target Card Design
The target card was a design element I created for Thrillzilla’s Pokemon card streams to visually inform the viewer what the current goal of the stream is. Pokemon card streams consist of the streamer opening card packs to find the desired card that they are looking for. The card he’s trying to find while opening a sealed pack of randomized cards is showcased as an image placed in the center of the target card’s shape. The yellow Pikachu tail that branches from the right side of the design, is used to display the name of the expansion type in the card series that he’s opening card packs of.
