Concept Project
Overview
The focus of this project was to design a package that uses no glue that holds products and has cohesive branding featured for all products within it's packaging. I chose bathing products that help reduce the user's stress after a long tiring day. Each product features a flower used as one of the ingredients that helps ease the user with it's scent and special uses.
Solution
Bokei Box showcases 5 different bathing products that people may typically use, but it's special floral ingredients is what sets it apart from other bathing products. The box contains shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath caviar, an exfoliating skin scrub, and leave in hair conditioner. Using each product slowly helps the user relax. Once they have used all the products after they have finished bathing, the user will have completely washed their stress away.
Research
Flora vs. Stress
With this project I researched how flowers, hot baths, and bathing products with floral ingredients produce stress relief. I specifically looked at the effects bathing products had on people's bodies with stress, as well as the flower's properties for stress reducing usage. By combining both of the these research subjects, I was able to effectively come up with products and designs that help evoke the user to de- stress.
