Concept Project
Overview
The focus of this project was to design an info-graphic which included a magazine and poster that educated the reader on a subject that they were unaware of. For the project I chose the Hawaiian cuisine poke, where the information focuses on history, what the dish is, why it's popular in America, and why it's a healthier dish to eat compared to other fast food dishes.
Solution
I created 5 different designs for this project: an info-graphic poster and 4 magazine spreads. I designed a poster that compared the nutrition facts between common fast food and poke, as well as the health diseases associated with them as well. The magazine spreads each focus on a different aspect of the subject: the history of poke, what poke is and how to order it at a restaurant, and the difference between Los Angeles and Hawaiian poke.
